Gigi (BOBTAIL)'s Story...
Hi there, my name is Gigi! My foster mom named me Gigi because she said that I am as sweet as a cupcake, and Gigi's cupcakes are her favorite, so she named me Gigi! I am a very special type of kitten, I am a Japanese Bobtail. As you can see from my photos, I have just a little stump of a tail, and it makes me extra special! I have very soft fur, love to be petted, have a very happy purr, and love people, dogs, and other cats! I love to play with string and have fun, but my favorite activity is just to sit in a lap and be petted! I am very sweet and loving, about eight months old, and would love to become a cherished part of your family! I am looking forward to having a forever home that will love me just as much as I love them -- I have lots and lots of love to give! Will you be my forever home? Email info@FORrescue.net to meet me. I'm fostered in Huntsville, AL.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gigi (BOBTAIL), a Chattanooga Japanese Bobtail cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Japanese Bobtail for sale in Chattanooga, or seeking a Japanese Bobtail cat from a breeder in Chattanooga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chattanooga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chattanooga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Japanese Bobtail breeders who help with Japanese Bobtail rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chattanooga paves the way for another one to be saved.
