Rocky's Story...
My name is Rocky and I am so excited to find my forever home!
I am very playful, and even though I may be little now, I can already run with the big dogs. My foster mom has labs, and I just love playing with them.
I also love to explore! There is so much to see and smell and experience! Mom says I have no fear except for missing out on something.
I have lots of energy, but don't let that fool you, I enjoy a nap and a loving cuddle as well.
The crate isn't my favorite thing, but I'm starting to learn it is a safe place for me. I don't sleep through the night yet, but I do go back to sleep.

Potty training is kind of tricky, but she is working on me with that too. She says I am still a puppy, so I will get better as I get older.

I love all people, big or small, and mom wants to make sure I tell you that I am way cuter in person!
Do I sound like the puppy you have been looking for? I can't wait to meet you!
Love, Rocky

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky, a Schaumburg German Shorthaired Pointer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shorthaired Pointer for sale in Schaumburg, or seeking a German Shorthaired Pointer puppy from a breeder in Schaumburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Schaumburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Schaumburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shorthaired Pointer breeders who help with German Shorthaired Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Schaumburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
