Delaney's Story...
Delaney is a quiet and curious kitten. She has the sweetest kitten face with eyes that looked so sad when she first came to us. If you look closely, you can see the adorable patch of fur on her nose that grows the wrong way making her even more precious. Now, she's thriving with playmates and plenty of love. She's definitely the perfect companion kitten and would love to find a forever home with older cat siblings to spend her days exploring with. Lanie is very loving but enjoys sitting up high and observing her surroundings when she's not playing with our chocolate lab or following her kitten big sister around. She came to our home after having a wolf worm removed from her neck and has been the best little patient and is all healed up now. When she does want your attention she'll crawl right up to give the sweetest ear kisses and sit on your shoulder or chest and take a cat nap all snuggled in. To meet Delaney, please email info@FORrescue.net. Delaney is fostered in Huntsville, AL

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Delaney, a Marietta Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
