Emerald's Info...

I am in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and good with cats.

Emerald's Story...
Emerald came to us as a timid 12 week old kitten back in October of 2013. Due to his shyness, he was never adopted, and has literally grown up in our shelter. All of his siblings have been adopted, and he is now the last one waiting! Although he started off as a shy boy, he is now a very sweet and affectionate cat who thoroughly enjoys human contact. He does wonderfully with the other cats in his room, and they have really helped bring him out of his shell. He has one good friend in particular by the name of Nico, and the two of them are best pals. It would be wonderful to see him and Nico go together, but they would also be just fine separated! All we wish for is to see Emerald go to the loving home he has been waiting for. He is now 9 months old and more than ready to go!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emerald, a Broadway Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Broadway, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Broadway.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Broadway already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Broadway breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Broadway paves the way for another one to be saved.
