Here is what else his foster family had to say:
Cody is very friendly with everyone. We haven't had him around young children but we don't believe there would be any issues. He gets along well with other dogs but can be easily dominated as he is on the submissive side. He is also great with cats and pretty much ignores them. He doesn't seem to prefer one gender over another and is equally affectionate and loves attention from anyone. He would be fine with another friendly respectful dog in the home as he does like to play with other dogs but, he is great on his own as well and enjoys playing with his toys. He easily amuses himself.
It wouldn't appear that Cody has not had any formal training but he is attentive and tries hard to do whatever you ask of him. He is well on his way to being house trained and although he is crate trained, he would much prefer to be sleeping with his people. He is very clean in his crate. He would rather be with you and will cry when you first put him in it but he will settle and sleeps fine through the night.
Although he is a small dog, Cody is a hardy dog and would do well in a family with children who enjoyed playing with him. He is not a needy dog and although he loves attention he is not a bother about it. He is a little on the timid side until he knows what is expected of him but he is very friendly with strangers and loves to cuddle. Cody would love going for walks, having a back yard to play in and is easy to care for and friendly enough to take anywhere.
Cody has the most adorable little face and would be extremely easy to care for. A quick wipe down and he is clean again. He would would probably need some clothing in the cold winter months but overall he loves to be outside and play happily. He is not a barker and is pretty quiet in the home (other than when I first put him in the crate).
If you think Cody would fit well into your family situation, please submit an application for consideration.
