Here is what else her foster family had to say:
Charlotte is a very loving little dog. She has not made strange with anyone and I do not see children being an issue with her well rounded temperament. She LOVES people! She is great with the other pets in the home as well. She likes to snuggle up with the other dogs in their beds. She is also tolerant of the cats.
She is very confident in herself and takes everything in stride. She is never destructive or shows any signs of having an issue when left on her own. She doesn't show any fears of anything and just loves going for walks. Her favourite things to do are give hugs & cuddles in the bed!! And go on adventures!
I would describe her energy as moderate to low. She is not a barker and in fact I haven't heard her barking in the home as of yet. Charlotte could stand to shed a few pounds but her pudgy little belly is super cute!! Asides from that she’s in great health.
Charlotte is polite in the home but can get ahead of herself. She has tried to check out what is on the table and counters but she is figuring out that she shouldn’t do that. I think she is just excited! She is eager to please you so a stern correction and praise once she has stopped doing it and she listens. She knows come, sit and kinda knows down. She responds very well to her name and has an excellent recall. Charlotte has learned how to use the dog door to come and is trying very hard to get out to go out. She has had a few accidents but she is just figuring the house out within a few days I am sure she will be good to go! She is pretty good on leash - could use some leash training but isn’t horrible.
Charlotte is quiet and clean in her crate. We crate her when we leave the house but this is only for a couple of hours at a time. In a home with less pets I do not see her needing to be crated. She is such a good girl does not chew or get into anything too crazy. She can be ruled by her tummy at times so anything tasty should be put away out of reach. Charlotte will never leave your side as she loves to be with people. We haven’t had an issue with her running at all.
Charlotte is a sweet little girl who would love nothing more than a family of her own to love and snuggle with. She is full of personality and antics that will add to anyone's life. She would be great as a single's companion, a second dog or, a family pet. Really she would thrive in any home. Charlotte loves to be in the mix of things with both her humans as well as her canine friends. She rolls with the punches and is game for anything - walks, play time, cuddles, and training! She is a total ham who is a pleasure to have. Charlotte is just waiting to go home and get lovin' on her forever family!
If you think Charlotte would be a good choice for your family, please submit an application for consideration.
