My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Schotzie came to us as an owner surrender, because her owners were an older couple who physically could no longer give her the exercise she needs as a young German Shepherd. She is three years old and knows some basic obedience already such as sit and down and she is already house broken and crate trained. She does need some work learning to walk nicely on a leash. She was in a home with another German Shepherd mix and small dogs. She would do best with another young/active dog to play with. Because Schotzie was not well socialized as a puppy, we do not feel she would be good in a home with children.

Schotzie's adoption fee is $250. If you are interested in Schotzie or any of our other foster dogs, please email us at gsdrescueofeasttn@gmail.com for an application.

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, on heartworm and flea preventative and have been microchipped. We require all of our dogs to be kept as inside pets and we only adopt out within a 2 hour radius of Knoxville, TN.
