This is Zombie! This little kitty has been through a lot. Found beaten, abused and near death. He is not that old, about 5 years but looks like a grandpa due to his unfortunate situation. What we know is his back legs had been broken (most likely hit by car), ears cut, a few broken teeth and tail cut short. Regardless of what has happened he LOVES people. When he sees me coming he acts like a puppy and gets all excited. I am marking him as special needs because he is scared of feet (most likely he was kicked at). No children under the age of 10. Zombie gets scared when people move really quickly so adults only would be best.

Zombie is a testament to how animals will love unconditionally even when they have been abused. Scared and near death he still approached me looking for help. It took months of recovery but he is strong and ready for a new life. Please consider giving him an awesome second chance. Many cats in this situation don’t make it but he is a true champ.

He is adorable now, he sits like a bunny and he really just wants to sit in a lap and be loved on. Does well with other kitties given time. I know his chances of getting adopted are slim but somewhere he will touch the right heart and get a new home.

He is FIV positive but that does not affect him being with other cats. He also has a special diet food he must maintain, it is affordable and can be purchased at any vet office.

The adoption fee is $125, he is fully vetted cost. Fixed, mircrochipped and up to date on shots. He is being fostered in Lilburn. Please contact Martha at 678-270-6153 or email

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our adoption center is located in Historic Buford, Ga. It is called La Maison du Chat, (House of the Cat) and it is a "Cat Cafe" but we don't serve food, just coffee and tea and an occasional pastry for our guests. Visitors are welcome even if they are not adopting one of our kitty's. It is a house built just for the rescued cats and kittens of CatRangers. The adoption process is similar to sitting in your own living room and meeting your prospective adoption candidate kitty. There are no cages and kitty's are able to lounge in various areas of the house and greet you. A cup of tea or coffee will be provided if desired. The kitty's at La Maison du Chat adjust to their new homes very quickly because they already live in home like environment, yet every one of them was a "last chance" kitty in a dire situation. Our center is also a small retail area for cat oriented gifts and all proceeds from the retail benefit the CatRangers rescue. We are open from 12-6 on Saturday and Sunday and by appointment during the week. We also hold special events at the center.
