found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
Jaxx is a well behaved 4 year old pure bred Brussels Griffon who came to rescue with his cousin Boogie. He has been very well cared for his entire life and is social with people and other dogs.
He is a quiet little fellow and not a barker, but will bark appropriately. Jaxx likes to watch TV. He sometimes will bark at animals he sees on the screen.
He is a sensitive, sweet loving dog who will bond closely with his person and will require another small dog in his home he can bond to. He loves to cuddle and lean up against his person and will seek his new owner out for affection. He will want to sleep with his new owner too. Jaxx LOVES to get "booty rubs", in other words, he loves his backside scratched. :) He will paw at his foster mom and turn around to get this much relished attention.
Jaxx is a little stubborn about going outside to potty and won't use a doggy door to go out. He prefers to be taken out regularly in a fenced yard where he can be praised and told how good he is. He was house trained in his former home, but due to the changes in his life, has had a slight setback which can be easily rectified with the kind of attentiveness described. This is very "Griffy" behavior.
We would love to place theses loving boys together, but will place them separately to get them into good homes.
Jaxx weighs 11 pounds and we are working on getting him a little trimmer. Jaxx loves food! If not monitored & measured, he will try to eat more than his share.
He has been altered, and he is up to date on his vaccines. He is not microchipped. He is fostered in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. in Southern CA. and we are looking for a more permanent foster home in the Southern CA. area.
We prefer to place Jaxx locally to where he is being fostered. If someone from outside the local area or state is approved for adoption, they must be willing to drive in or fly in, and he can only fly home in the cabin with his new family. Under no circumstances can our dogs ever be shipped in cargo. We do not place our dogs in homes with invisible (electric) fencing or young children.
