Sage's Story...
Are you looking for a muse to help you through those low points, how about a little Sage to whisper in your ear and give you encouragement. Sage is a wonderful and friendly kitten who loves to play and thrives on human attention. This little boy has been raised by a loving foster family, so she is well socialized, and is fully litter box trained. He must be an indoor cat, as that is how he has been raised, and doesn't know anything about dogs who could be dangerous (he thinks they should all love him and allow him to play with and lie on them). Sage is currently in foster, please call (269) 637-5062 to meet him.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sage, a South Haven Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in South Haven, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in South Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in South Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a South Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in South Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
