Here's what the humans have to say about me:
LEONTYNE
8 Year Old Female Brown Ticked Chausie
Fostered in Salinas area
Leontyne (pronounced “Leon-teen”) is a dazzling cat to behold. With her striking green eyes and super dense plush coat, she is a very exceptional kitty. She loves to be around people, snuggles up at bedtime, and would make a wonderful family cat. Leontyne loves kind children and allows them to gently carry her around without complaint. Her foster home has three cat-savy boys (10, 8 & 6), and she is very patient with them as they are kind and patient with her.
Leontyne is a great companion cat. She wants to be around people, comes when dinner is served, and ‘checks in’ when she hasn’t seen anyone in a while. Over time, she and the foster home cat have adjusted well, so she would be fine to co-exist with another non-dominant cat. However, she would be perfectly fine as an only cat too. In fact, she would probably prefer to be your one and only. Leontyne does love pizza, so beware on pizza night!
She is tolerant of dogs, as long as they keep their distance, and she has no hesitation to remind the foster dog to keep his distance. Leontyne is cooperative in being groomed and having her nails trimmed. She eats wet and dry food, and is litter box perfect. She is healthy, spayed, FELV/FIV negative, current on vaccinations and microchipped.
Leontyne is being fostered in the Salinas area through Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue. www.purebredsplus.org. If you feel you would make a wonderful home for Leontyne and would like more information about her, please contact Amy.
