Carly's Story...
Woof woof! I'm Carly and I am about 5 yrs old and I am a sweet, friendly girl. I am fairly small standing about 14 inches to the shoulder and weighing about 15 lbs. I am very polite and well behaved. I am housetrained and crate trained. I am fine to be crated during the day while my foster mom is at work but I can also stay loose in the house too and don't get in any trouble or make any messes. I love spending time in the yard with the other dogs living here and I get along good with them all. I can be a couch potato too though as I love to just hang out on the couch or be snoozing on a doggie bed. And if I'm lying on the couch beside you I'll want a tummy rub for sure!! Awww I love those tummy rubs!

I'm a pretty laid back girl and don't even bark very much at all. I know how to sit on command and shake a paw. I am very good at coming running when my foster mom calls my name too but she says I need a bit of work with leash walking as I tend to want to pull. I met some kids recently and was really good with them. I love to chew on antler bones, but right now I can't as I had some dental work done and still need more. My teeth were pretty bad I guess but soon they will be better although I will have a few less. I am having more dental work done on Nov 6 /13 and I'll be spayed then too so following that I'll be available for adoption. I am so excited to meet my new family soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carly, a Saskatoon American Eskimo Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Eskimo Dog for sale in Saskatoon, or seeking a American Eskimo Dog dog from a breeder in Saskatoon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saskatoon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saskatoon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Eskimo Dog breeders who help with American Eskimo Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saskatoon paves the way for another one to be saved.
