My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Abby originally came to us with her litter of 4 puppies after her owner dumped her off for being protective and no longer getting along with the other dog. Not too long after arriving in our group and going to foster care abby and her pups broke with distemper. Because her owners had neglected to vaccinate her (and you can't vaccinate a pregnant or nursing dog) they left and her babies sitting ducks to this nasty disease. Abby and one of her puppies survived, but Abby has some slight neurological deficits as a result. While she lives a normal life, Abby occasionally looses her balance or gets tired easier. Sometimes she is wobbly like a toddler while others she is completely normal. She also needs over the counter eyedrops.

Abby is not contagious at this point, and again with live a normal life. She is a sweet girl that likes other dogs and does seem to prefer woman over men. She can be a bit nervous at first so a home without small children is preferred. She is spayed, UTD on shots, HW neg, and fully vetted. Her adoption fee is $250.
