This adorable little guy is Toby. Toby is a 2 year old Chihuahua/terrier mix that came to us with 8 of his friends that were abandoned in an apartment building in Newark. Although this whole little group of dogs were quite neglected, Toby managed to be in remarkably good condition. He needed a spa day, but nothing major. Toby is the most outgoing and sociable one of the whole bunch. When you go in to meet these little guys, all of them are a bit shy but Toby will run to you with his tail wagging excitedly, and then plop on his back so you'll rub his belly. Toby absolutely adores people. He is very friendly and affectionate, and he just wants you to scoop him up and cuddle him. Like all of the others in this little family, Toby can be shy, but is never aggressive. He is so happy to get some love and attention from you and smiles from ear to ear when you take him out for a walk. Toby gets along well with other dogs and would make a wonderful addition to any good family that promises to love and care for him forever!
