My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi People! Timmy
My name is Timmy and I’m a four year old sweetie of a bichon – and a little guy that loves. What do I love? Well, I love other dogs (and love being part of a pack) and I love people! Oh, and I love to snuggle. Snuggling is good! I like to snuggle with people (big and small) and my doggy foster brothers and sisters. My foster Mom says I’m really quite good at snuggling! She says I’m pretty good at just about everything! (Can you tell that Mom likes me?)
I also have an amazing story to tell – and it’s one with a very happy ending, because I became a FurKid. You see, I once belonged to a family who must have loved me (‘cause Dad says I’m just amazingly lovable.) But something happened and they couldn’t keep me -- so they took me and my friend, the cat, put us in a box and left us at the animal shelter. You can imagine what that was like! When the nice shelter people opened the box, there we were sitting quietly, waiting to be let out. Timmy
Well it turns out that, although I’m a very young guy, I had this thing called ‘juvenile cataracts.’ That means I was losing my sight - but the best thing of all is that I could get it back. Well, it’s not like I could chase it and get it -- but I could have this thing called ‘a surgery’ and that would restore my vision. And guess what? My Aunties at BFK loved me SO much and said I was such a great boy that I could have the surgery. And I did! Now my eyes sparkle and I can see everything around me – and I’m even happier than I was before (if that’s even possible Mom and Dad say!)
I love to play with my doggy foster brothers and sisters and I also love to play ball (Mom says she has mastered bringing the ball back but that I need to learn how to do that, too!) Dad says I’m housebroken, love to go on walks, come when I'm called (which is not all that common, after all!) and love everyone and everything I meet. He also says that I’m the kindest, mellowest and most lovable little guy in the world.
There is no doubt that I am cuddly, lovable, sweet, smart, gentle and extremely well-behaved. Everyone who meets me knows that I am one very special little guy who deserves a very, very special home and family. So if you are special, then let’s meet- and I will love and snuggle my way into your heart.
Tail wags and snuggles,
Totally Terrific Timmy
