Kehaar's Story...
My name is Kehaar. I was found at about 2 weeks of age without my mom so I had to be bottle fed and cared for by a FOR “kitten nurse”. I am a fun and lovable young kitten taking adoption applications. I would LOVE to meet you and sing you the song of my cat people. In other words, I would love to cuddle on your lap and PURR . The more you pet me and talk to me, the louder I purr. My other past time activities include chasing feather wands and laser lights. Currently, I am living in a foster home with 2 dogs and a senior cat and I don’t mind them. I am really no trouble and I know you would LOVE me if you came to meet me. Hurry though, because I am growing up fast. I will be waiting for your application. XOXO. I am fostered in Huntsville, AL. To meet me, please email info@FORrescue.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kehaar, a Chattanooga Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chattanooga, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Chattanooga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chattanooga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chattanooga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chattanooga paves the way for another one to be saved.
