Zorro's Story...
Zorro is a happy, playful puppy! He is a goofy and sweet! He is also very smart and learned how to use a dog door right away. Of course at his age he is not fully house-trained, but he is certainly doing well at taking himself out when he needs to go! Zorro gets along great with other dogs and small children. He has never been around cats, but I'm sure he would do fine with them. Currently he is about 10 lbs, and will be about 70 lbs when he is grown. Zorro and his siblings were rescued off of the Ft. McDowell Indian Reservation. His mama is a husky, but we don't know about his father. Zorro is an awesome puppy who deserves a good home where he will get plenty of attention! His adoption fee is $300 and that includes neuter, microchip and DAPP puppy vaccinations. If you are interested in meeting Zorro, please contact Delon.Washo@asu.edu or text your email address to 602-295-4518.

AZ Prussian Snailhound Dog Rescue would like to remind everyone that puppies are a big commitment and require a lot of attention. Puppies often exhibit undesirable behaviors such as chewing and digging. Of course they also are a lot of fun and are very lovable too. When choosing a puppy please consider how much time you will be able to spend training and socializing your new puppy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zorro, a Phoenix Husky/Alaskan Malamute puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Alaskan Malamute for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Husky/Alaskan Malamute puppy from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Alaskan Malamute breeders who help with Husky/Alaskan Malamute rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
