Elmo's Story...
Hi! My name is Elmo. I’m a 6 year old, 35 lb, happy, silly boy who loves to please my owner. My birth-mom was a Boston Terrier and my father was a Chihuahua! I know lots of tricks, and I love to play fetch and tug of war. I am a good boy who does what I’m told most of the time. I am neutered and micro-chipped, and I have been well taken care of, until now. My current owner is very sad about letting me go, but she is going through some pretty big health problems and just can’t take care of me and my sister Cookie anymore. I am a little scared of loud noises, and new situations…. but I will get used to everything if you are patient with me and make me feel safe. I promise that I will love you and make you laugh once I feel comfortable in my new forever home. I’m good with other dogs, cats, and children!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Elmo, a Medford Boston Terrier/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier/Chihuahua for sale in Medford, or seeking a Boston Terrier/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Medford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Medford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Medford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier/Chihuahua breeders who help with Boston Terrier/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Medford paves the way for another one to be saved.
