Charlie has been through a lot since he was rescued but he is a trooper & even though he left the pound and went straight to the vet for one week he never complained once!!
We listed him as cat friendly because he is although the cats don’t seem to like his friendliness too much – Charlie’s head is a mastiff head & with one lick a passing cat is soaking wet instantly so they are none too pleased with the new addition to their home! But he loves the kitties so much he just cannot help himself!
His best friends are Julie, a gorgeous and sweet pitbull, and Lola our little Jack Russell Mix Diva of the rescue.
He is doing great on the leash and loves his walks.
Charlie was seriously neglected prior to his rescue and needs a best friend for life who will be dedicated to him! There are signs that he was abused in the past but he is learning to forget all that now. Very healthy teeth, gums and coat . He was malnourished and needed to gain weight, he was only 64 but his mummy introduced to a healthy diet – if you are a vegetable he will eat you! Carrots and broccoli are his most favorites!!
Charlie is very special boy and his rescue captured the hearts of many including the volunteers at CAA rescue which is why we promised to list him as available to help him find his forever home. See Charlie is like a cousin to the CAA Rescue Family – the cousin you love so much you wish he was your brother! We only want what is best for Charlie
