Albert's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Albert's Story...
This 6-mo old boy is already almost 50 lbs and is going to be bigger. He is one super nice dog. He loves other dogs, plays gently with others, is learning his leash manners, and has been fully vetted. He is quiet if left outside, which has been a big plus in his foster home. We guessing on the mix, but Albert is one of the sweetest and nicest of big, lumbering teddybears. So many people overlook a black dog, but Albert is a real prize. Adopt him!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Albert, a Sylva Labrador Retriever/Plott Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Plott Hound for sale in Sylva, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Plott Hound dog from a breeder in Sylva.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sylva already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sylva breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Plott Hound breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Plott Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sylva paves the way for another one to be saved.
