Gage's Info...

I am already neutered and up to date with shots.

Gage's Story...
Gage was listed as a yorkie mix by the shelter but we think he definitely looks more like an Australian Terrier mix. He is guesstimated to be 3 years old and he weighed 11.4 pounds on the day he was neutered. Gage is an active, friendly, alert little guy that walks well on a leash, rides well in a car and is good with other dogs. He has been neutered, brought up to date on vaccinations including bordatella for kennel cough, tested negative for heartworm microfilaria and was micro-chipped. If you would like to provide an active, safe, loving home for this little guy please click

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gage, a Westport Australian Terrier/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Terrier/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Westport, or seeking a Australian Terrier/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Westport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Westport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Westport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Terrier/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Australian Terrier/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Westport paves the way for another one to be saved.
