Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Presley is a loving, wonderful, patient kitty, but she also needs special, loving care. She was rescued from the at risk list in July 2013, at a little over a year old, where she was picked up from the streets covered in paint and starving at just about 4 pounds. Her fosters are extremely happy to report that with love and proper vet care she is coming around to full health. She now has a beautiful coat of fur, weighs a healthy and hearty 7+ pounds, and even has occasional sprightly outbursts of energy and joy while playing. But more than anything, at Presley’s core, she is a patient, zen kitty with a sometimes serious face that deep down just loves to be petted & brushed endlessly – she will reward you with endless purring and has even started to occasionally bring her face in to request a kiss on the cheek! Her fosters love her very much and will be sad to see her go, but their current kitty doesn’t show any signs of welcoming Presley into their home (she’s a spoiled one!) – and what Presley needs most, more than anything else right now, is a guardian willing to bring her into a single kitty home where she can confidently share the whole space and where she will continue to be loved and nurtured so she can live a stress free life and be the fluffy-love box she is so eager to be. Presley is a true joy, and would be an amazing addition to any single-cat home. Presley is a bit of a cave-dweller rather than a tree-dweller, and just loves warm dark spaces. She often prefers to be pet and brushed rather than play, but when she does play she shows a street-wise swiftness with silly burst of energy, and has the quickest, cutest little fluffy-muppet paws. She will take all the love you have to give, and she’ll give it right back. Presley was born around 7/2/12.
