My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Alvin and I once was a lonely dog. I wandered up and down the streets eating whatever I could find. My skin would itch; I’d scratch till it hurt! My tummy would rumble in pain. I never saw a loving glance; I was always on the run afraid that someone would hurt me. And then one day I heard a voice so gentle, kind and sweet. With loving arms so soft, she reached down to me and took me off my feet. “No one again will hurt you” was whispered in my ear, “You’ll have a home to call your own, where you will know no fear”. “You will be loved, and cared for, you’ll have enough to eat and rest assured that when you sleep, your dreams will all be sweet”. That was a special day, for me; the day I was rescued and a new beginning. I am 8 months old and weigh 12 pounds, don’t plan on getting any bigger. My foster parents tell me that I am a smart little guy. I learned to go potty outside in no time and I have good house manners. I don’t make a mess; I just like to re-arrange the blankets sometimes. I like humans of all ages and like to rough and tumble with other canines. Going for car rides and visiting new places is fun for me. I am affectionate and like to snuggle with my human friends. I know I’m not a fluffy dog; however, I do like to be brushed, it puts me to sleep. I know the angels are working hard to find my perfect home. So, every night I pray to God and ask him if tomorrow will be the day for me to have a family of my own. Please visit www.foreverhome4dogsrescue.com to fill out an adoption application.
