Super, dooper, trooper, COOPER ! How's that for a name?
This gorgeous guy came our way by way of a family who just had a set of triplets...but unfortunately, there was no more room for Cooper. So the family asked if we would help to rehome Mr Handsome...and we said yes.
Cooper is a gentle, one-of-a-kind, smart, ;grumpy ole man (as the foster mom calls him) who loves life. When I say smart I mean, he will let you throw the ball all you want...and you can go and get the ball all you want too...and he is very happy to watch you do this repeated exercise daily ! Just look what happens when Cooper catches all the balls...he exhausts himself ! (See photo)
Cooper has a little trick of his own, he likes to try and blend in ...until a piece of food hits the ground. Then it's every man for himself. See photo)
Cooper is sharing the foster home with a huge Mastiff buddy named, what else Cooper. So the foster mom calls her dog Cooper and the fostered dog, Mini Cooper. Cooper is a dog that would not be comfortable around little children. They just don't understand dog body language nor can they give a commanding voice. Teens are a great age for this guy because he can snuggle with the best of them and walk a good mile if you want too.
Cooper is great in the car, walks like a champion on a leash, housebroken and just a love bug.
