HERSHEY- pending's Story...
Hershey arrived on Saturday, November, 2nd. This 4 year old sweet girl is FANTASTIC! She just adores people! She is great with kids, and could care less about cats! The video attached to her description was taken on Monday, November 4th. You can see how quickly she adores her foster mom. She is just as sweet with everyone she meets! What a doll. Hershey is housebroken and calm in the house. She is fostered with young children, a cat, and a dog. She is not high energy but she is up for anything you would like to do. She rides great in the car too!

UPDATE: From the moment Hershey got off the transport I could see that she wanted to be loved and give love. The next thing I noticed was that she knows some commands. She knows how to sit, give paw, and lay down. She is good on a leash and loves walks. She goes into her crate without any problems and is crate trained. This housebroken sweet girl also sleeps thru the night in the crate. The relationship between Hershey and that cat is going well. They simply stay out of each others way. Hershey is a big mush of a dog. She loves to be pet and nudges you if you stop. I haven't seen her play with toys yet but we are working on that. She
gets along with my grandson of 11 months and granddaughter 5 yrs. old. Sunday we had my family over and Hershey was going over to everyone to get a pat on the head or a rub on her tummy. She did not beg by the table for food, just went to her crate and laid down while we ate. What a doll! Why Adoption is a Great Option

HERSHEY- pending, a West Milford Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in West Milford, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in West Milford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Milford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Milford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Milford paves the way for another one to be saved.
