Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Reno
1.5 yr male Blue Classic Tabby, DSH
Fostered in W. Sacramento, CA
COURTESY POST
Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is helping facilitate the adoption of this cat. We take no responsibility for his health and medical records. It is the responsibility of the owner and adopter to discuss this.
Reno is a handsome Blue Classic Tabby boy who was surrendered to one of our veterinarians because he was “annoying” to the owner! Apparently Reno had originally belonged to the woman’s son, who moved and left the cat with her. She didn’t want to keep the cat and so surrendered her to the same clinic where he had been neutered 7 months before.
Poor Reno has lived at the clinic for close to a month. During this time, he has won the hearts of the staff. He is quite a character, very human identified. In fact, he loves both the staff and the clients. His favorite activity is to walk around the clinic looking for affection: love me, pet me, can I sit on your papers while you work? I just want to be next to you.
Reno has a healthy coat, mostly blue with a bit of cream, and striking light gold eyes. He is very playful. He has become quite good pals with the other resident clinic cat; they like to wrestle, romp, and chase each other. We therefore think Reno would enjoy having a furry feline friend who could be his equal in the play department. When he first arrived, he was not very dog friendly, but now he has seen enough dogs that maybe the right cat- friendly dog would be compatible with him.
Since Reno is residing in a vet clinic right now, he is very well cared for, fully vetted, but he would LOVE to be in his own home, cuddled up with a person rather than alone in a cage during the night.
