COURTESY POST: Katya is a beautiful Himalayan kitty, about 1-1/2 years old, who is searching for a loving forever home. She prefers a calm environment with adult human companions.

Katya is very gentle and loves to be held, brushed and pampered. She gets along with gentle kitties; however, very nervous around dominant or aggressive cats. Adoption fee covers vetting costs.

For more information about Katya, please contact rascalcats@mail.com
Fill out an adoption application at http://www.illinoisanimalrescueinc.org/adoption-application/view/form.html.

All cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, current on their vaccinations, feline leukemia/FIV tested, per age; treated for fleas/ticks and urgently awaiting adoption!
The dogs and cats are so very appreciative of your support. Together we can save these forsaken loving 'innocents' who are condemned to death.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Katya, a Palatine Himalayan cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Himalayan for sale in Palatine, or seeking a Himalayan cat from a breeder in Palatine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palatine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palatine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Himalayan breeders who help with Himalayan rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palatine paves the way for another one to be saved.
