Coco's Story...
2 years old
Coco along with his best friend Rufus were signed over to our shelter when their previous owner could not keep them where he lived. His previous owner let us know that he has been housebroken, does great with children, does well with most dogs, knows several basic commands but would be best in a home without cats. Coco is a very playful and busy guy who is always on the move. He would love an active family who can bring him along everywhere and keep him busy. He is a fun and playful guy ready for a second chance at a happy home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Coco, a Fruit Heights Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie for sale in Fruit Heights, or seeking a Collie dog from a breeder in Fruit Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fruit Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fruit Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie breeders who help with Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fruit Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
