Zeus's Story...
Zeus is a big handsome boy, at 9 months old he weighs about 82 lbs, so there is a lot to love! He is an Anatolian shepherd/great Pyrenees mix and could not be any sweeter!

Zeus is a bit shy and is working on coming out of his shell. He is more intimidated by men, but his foster family is helping socialize him and make him feel more comfortable. He's doing well and enjoys snuggling with his brother, who was adopted by his foster family.

Zeus is very calm and gets along well with other dogs, big and small. He's a gentle giant.

If you're interested in learning more about Zeus please submit an adoption application on our website, www.rescueAhart.org, which will connect you with his foster family who can answer any questions you may have.

Zeus is microchipped, neutered & up to date on his shots & vaccines. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zeus, a Cincinnati Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees puppy from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
