My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mari is approx. 1 year old and full of love! A4A rescued Mari from death row (from a kill shelter) just in time. Her hair was long and matted, she was covered in giant fleas and parasites and terrified behind shelter bars. Now that she has come to A4A she has been groomed and fully vetted- she is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, etc. and ready for adoption. Mari does great with other dogs and cats. She prefers a home that will give her a lot of love and let her sleep in bed with them (she loves to snuggle)! She is GREAT on a leash and loves going for walks too. Mari is potty trained and has so much love to share with everyone she meets. Mari does not like to be caged and needs a home that will never crate her. In her foster home at A4A she has access to all areas of the home and does great! Mari had a tough start in life and is so deserving of a loving, forever home to call her own. She loves belly rubs and she loves the back of her neck rubbed too. She takes treats/food very gently too.
