My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Don't you just LOVE LOVE sweet cuddly little puppy girls? I'm so soft, so innocent and I just love to snuggle....doesn't everybody? My name is Braylee and they say I am a LAB-HOUND mix.....actually, I'm a mix of sugar and spice and EVERYTHING nice... and, I have the prettiest black and white fur!

I was born at the end of June, 2013. I have the best Mama (her name is Zina) in the whole world. Some kind volunteers noticed her at a truck stop by a busy highway...she obviously had recently had puppies and was very thin and emaciated as she was scavenging for food. They tried and tried to catch her....after two days, they finally were successful. They couldn't give up as they knew, not only her life depended upon them, but also her puppies would not survive without her. Then the search for the puppies began...they walked over 3 miles around the area, through the woods, fields and found all 12 of us puppies under an old abandoned shed. We were hungry and thirsty, our Mama tried to feed us but she really had nothing left to give twelve hungry puppies. It took over an hour for them to finally catch seven of our litter... they were little but very fast little rascals! You know how puppies love to play! Thankfully, they came back several days later and found 5 more of us - boy, we really appreciated how persistent they were in looking for us!

They took Mama straight to the vets....she needed to spend time in the hospital, receiving lots of loving care and attention as she was very weak, dehydrated and malnourished. She had sacrificed everything she had to keep her strength up to nurse and care for us little puppies. All of us went to the shelter and we heard lots of 'oohs and awes' as we all rolled around, played, ate, slept, wiggled, wrestled, look cute and then we took a big ole naps!

Mama is back with us now and she is getting stronger and healthier every day...we're all so happy! We heard the nice people say that we are all going to have our very own homes and families soon. Doesn't that sound like a miracle? We know that we are so blessed to have been found....do you think that those were volunteers were really angels sent find us? We KNOW they were angels....how else could they have had the patience to search and find us our in the middle of no where?

I have heard the nice people here say that we are some of the best behaved puppies they have ever had, very respectful of people, LOVE to play, and get along with others. They also say I am so pretty, very sweet, and LOVE my toys!

If you have been looking for a new best forever fur friend, then just ask for me Braylee, .... one of the cutest little puppy girls in the world!
