My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buddy was surrendered to a local animal rescue in February 2013 by a family who owned him for 12 years. Once in foster care, it was apparent he had a medical issue that went undetected for, well, we aren't sure how long. Buddy had diabetes. So since this sweet boy was deserving of more love than he’d been getting - we started life saving insulin treatments and was closely monitored by a veterinarian. We are happy to report this strong boy is now in remission for diabetes. He is no longer on insulin and his only special requirement is to continue on a low carb, high protein dry food. Buddy has never complained, growled, moaned or hissed despite his transition into rescue, which came with a lot of pokes and vet visits. He is a lover, a fighter, a boy that gives love and snuggles to all those around him. He is noticeably happy and grateful to be given a second chance at life. Buddy, my friends, is THE true companion.
Adoption Fee: $100
This pet is: altered, up to date with routine shots, dewormed, microchipped and litterbox ready.
