Cooper's Story...
Where are all of our big cat people?

Cooper isn't quite a huge cat just yet, but he's definitely on the right track because at only 5 months old, he's already an armful!

And boy does he love it. When you drape him across your arms for a snuggle, he just purrs and purrs and purrs. With the temperature dropping, he would like nothing more than to curl up in your lap while you watch TV and snooze the nights away.

You can meet Cooper and his brother, Henry (brown/white tabby) at the Adoption Center Monday through Saturday 1pm to 7pm. They would love to meet you and become a part of your family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cooper, a Struthers Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Struthers, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Struthers.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Struthers already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Struthers breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Struthers paves the way for another one to be saved.
