Rusty's Story...
Well g'day! My name is Rusty. I'm a handsome and distinguished gentleman whose estimated birthday is October, 2000. I used to have a home, but was surrendered by my owner in 2013. Happily Ever After stepped in and is bound and determined to find me a spectacular home to live out my glory years! I really must say that I'm a nice, quiet boy, and would enjoy a lovely forever home to spend my days in. I get along great with other dogs, and I promise not to be a bother at all! Do you have a small spot on your couch that I could possibly occupy? Please stop by HEA's Green Bay Adoption Center to meet me soon! Love, Rusty

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rusty, a Green Bay Pekingese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pekingese for sale in Green Bay, or seeking a Pekingese dog from a breeder in Green Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Green Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Green Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pekingese breeders who help with Pekingese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Green Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
