My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Riley and I am a 4 year old neutered male, tri-color Japanese Chin. I was picked up as a stray in very rural Colorado and my foster mom strongly suspects that I was dumped. I have all of the behaviors of a puppymill dog. I was afraid of everything when I first arrived in rescue and it was obvious that I had never lived in a home or been handled much by people. I am slowly learning how to trust people and have learned how to walk on a leash. I am still learning about housetraining, but am starting to get the hang of it. I am looking for a very patient and loving adult household. I would like to find a very calm and quiet home and would love to have a companion dog who is well socialized in which to help me build my confidence. As you can see I am a very handsome boy.
