Benjamin's Story...
Hi There! My name is Benjamin. I was found at a workplace with my mom and a nice person trapped us and called Stray Cat Blues. That was October 16, 2013. Since I was old enough to be separated from my mom I was given to my foster mom because she had lots of other kittens the same age as me. I was in heaven when I saw all the other kittens and I have been very happy ever since. There are also other adult cats that I like to snuggle with and I purr as soon as I sit down next to them. I also live with two large dogs so I am used to them. I was born about August 30, 2013. I am an extremely cute black and white kitten. People go “Awww” when they see my face!

I am a VERY active kitten! I live to play! I spend the day looking for wonderful adventures to get into. I am also a very happy kitten! I prance around the house because I am so happy and life is so wonderful. I am constantly looking into file cabinets, drawers, sinks, closets, well, you get the idea. I want to explore everywhere! I love all kinds of toys! I love balls and I can really move fast chasing them around a room. I love chasing a cat teaser. I love ball trackers. I also love to eat. The only time I meow is when my foster mom is opening up canned food and I give her a very small meow to let her know I’m waiting.

The only time I stop playing is when I need a nap. Then I lay down and I look so cute my foster mom will sit down with me and pet me under my chin and around my ears and down my back. It takes about 2 seconds for me to start purring! One of my favorite places to nap is my foster mom’s bed where I sometimes lay on my back all sprawled out! I also like to run around on the bed with the other kittens and play while my foster mom is watching tv and she will reach out and pet me then.

Benjamin is neutered, litterbox trained, have received age appropriate vaccinations, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. Like what you see? Why Adoption is a Great Option

Benjamin, a Colmar Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colmar, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Colmar.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colmar already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colmar breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colmar paves the way for another one to be saved.
