Lindy's Story...
Lindy is a sweet, curious young lady! When her guardian could not keep her,
she ended up in a St. Louis shelter. There, Lindy shared a kennel with several other dogs.
When the shelter became full, the staff could not bear to put her down because she is so sweet!
Now, at the City of St. Charles Animal Control shelter, she has her own kennel apartment while she looks for her forever home.
Lindy has a wonderful disposition and gets along well with cats and other dogs. She has a moderate activity level and may become over stimulated by very young children. Lindy will blossom in a stable home environment.
She is eager to please and is learning to walk on a leash.
With her beautiful coat and movie star eyes, Lindy is a knock out!
Bring this sweetheart home today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lindy, a Saint Charles Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Saint Charles, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Saint Charles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saint Charles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saint Charles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saint Charles paves the way for another one to be saved.
