Cam's Story...
The name’s Cam…I know what you’re thinkin’, must be short for Cameron. But the truth is, it’s short for many things. Like Camouflage. Cuz I’ll blend right into your family…other dogs, kids, dog savvy cats. You name it, Camo here will fit right in. Or how about Camping. Ohhh I’d just love joining you on all your exciting adventures, an active youngin’ like me will really enjoy all the fun activities you have planned! Or Campus…since I really would excel at higher education. Even though I am already crate trained and working on on basic manners, I’m still just a pup and really would love to learn lots lots more. Cam, it could be short for Camera…cuz I am so darn handsome you’ll wanna take a picture, so you can gaze at my stunning face anytime you want. Cam is also short for Camaraderie. No explanination needed, I’m the best pal you’ll ever have...like a Camel, I’ve got so much love stored up inside it feels like I’ve been packing it around all year! So here I am, Campaigning for your heart. I really hope I get your vote. 1 year old-50lbs-German Shepherd/Pit Bull/ TerrierAustralian Cattle Dog Mix. My adoption fee is $200 and includes; microchip, neuter, reduced cost Training Class, free veterinary exam ,1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cam, a Portland German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Portland, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
