Tiffany's Story...
Tiffany is an adorable tiny 8 year old shih Tzu surrendered with her friend Tommy Girl (4 year old shih Tzu) because her owner had to move and take care of a sick relative. She is a sweet little girl, blind in one eye due to an old eye injury but gets along just fine and loves to play with her other doggie friend. She deserves a home where she will be loved and spoiled for the rest of her life. Please submit an application if you are interested from our website www.secondchance.petfinder.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tiffany, a Oak Ridge Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Oak Ridge, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Oak Ridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oak Ridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oak Ridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oak Ridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
