Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**Laney is located in the St. Charles, Il area**
Hi I'm Laney. Somehow I got away from home and ended up at Chicago Animal Control. My owners found me, but then said that I should be put down. MeYOW. The folks there didn't understand it; they thought I was a sweet, healthy girl. So they asked a nice foster from IAR to take me home.
When I first go to my foster home scared of everything. I would flinch when my foster mom tried to pet me. I thought she was going to hit me. But I soon learned she wasn't going to hit me--and that she was pretty good for snuggling. I was terrified of the dog and the other cats.
I’m fine with the dog now, but I still don’t love other cats. I would probably be best in a home where I can get all the love and attention, or with a very passive kitty, as I am sometimes a target of bully cats.
I love to give kisses and I am very patient with grooming. Mom says I do have one habit that she is working on--I like to monkey bite. So I'm probably not a good cat for small kids.
