Barley's Story...
Hi! I’m Barley and you’ve never met a dog like me! Not only am I cute and loving, but I’m also housebroken! I like playing with other dogs, laying on the couch, and taking baths! Yes I said Baths! I’ll lay down in the tub and just relax! I’m not big on barking and I’m learning to not pull on a leash. I am very timid and don't like loud noises cause they scare me. I like to army crawl over to get my belly rubbed by pretty much anyone! I look alot bigger than I am but I'm only about 35 lbs. I’m just an all around great dog that could be a part of any family! Email info@forrescue.net to adopt me! Barley is being fostered in Huntsville, AL

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Barley, a Homewood Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Homewood, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Homewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
