Lizzie's Story...
Meet Lizzie!
She is a beautiful, 2 year old, Lab/Border Collie mix. She is a very sweet, energetic dog who loves to play fetch. She also loves water. She would be a great dog for an active family who loves to walk, run, or hike. Lizzie is very sweet and great with other dogs. She would also be great with children. Small children may not be best because she may accidentally knock them down. She has been spayed, vaccinated, and checked by the vet. She weighs about 50 pounds. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lizzie, a Brattleboro Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
