Eleanor (Ellie)'s Story...
Ellie is a three month old lab mix. She is affectionate and loves to snuggle. She is great with other dogs although can be defensive of her food. Her foster mom says she is learning basic commands and working on house training. Ellie is spayed, microchipped, and current on vaccines. She is on Trifexis for flea and HW prevention. Ellie is crate trained and does great in social situations. She will probably be the size of a small lab. Ellie is so beautiful! She is fostered in Huntsville, Al. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Eleanor (Ellie), a Huntsville Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
