PHOENIX's Story...
Meet Phoenix!!! He is as adorable as can be and is only 5 months old. He was born in our care after we rescued his pregnant mommy Layla. He is so sweet and adorable. He is an absolute snuggler but can be a lil nervous when he first meets you, who wouldn't be if they were only 8 pounds. He is very good about going potty outside as long as you keep him on a routine and watch when he walks to the door, he still didn't figure out how to speak up yet. He is crate trained and great with people, kids and other doggies.

His adoption fee of $300 covers his neuter, microchip, dewormer, rabies and distemper vaccinations and fecal test. If you are interested in adopting and ready to give him a loving home fill out our adoption application on our website at www.atlbrescue.org/process.php. **PLEASE DO NOT CALL BEFORE SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION AS IT SLOWS OUR PROCESS** All of our animals are in foster homes and meetings with animals will ONLY be setup after we receive your completed adoption application and it is reviewed. Thank you for looking to adopt and save a life!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PHOENIX, a Morris Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Morris, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Morris.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Morris already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Morris breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Morris paves the way for another one to be saved.
