Chaplin's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and good with cats.

Chaplin's Story...
Chaplin is a year old and the brother of Una. He is the absolute SWEETEST boy you will ever meet! He is Filv/Felv negative; has had all kitten shots; neutered and had rabies shot. Loves to give kisses and play! Overall wonderful cat, great for a little girl, will do well with other cats and not sure how he would be with a dog. Would prefer he be adopted with Una as he does not like to be alone but if there is another cat in the house he might be fine. They are very bonded however. Adoption application and vet reference required. Adoption fee is each $75. If both adopted the fee is $100. He is not to be declawed or allowed outside.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chaplin, a Sarasota Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Sarasota, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Sarasota.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sarasota already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sarasota breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sarasota paves the way for another one to be saved.
