Andy's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Andy's Story...
Andy, a young 2 year old Great Pyrenees male, was rescued from an animal shelter in Fort Worth. However, this is an athletic boy and at his first rescue home, he jumped the 6' stockade fence. The second foster home has a hot wire around the fence and he has learned to respect the fence!! :) Pyrs are smart dogs!!

He is a loving dog who likes adults and children. He gets along with other dogs. He likes the wadding pool and attention. It appears he was previously a house dog because he tried to come into the house when he first arrived here. He is also a quick learner. He doesn't try to come into the house and he knew his new name quickly. His shots are up to date and is heartworm-free, and has been neutered and is ready for a great home!! He was recently groomed and the groomer wanted to take him home. Anyone who adopts Andy will have a very sweet dog.

If you are interested in giving Andy a new home, please contact TGPR or complete an adoption form found at http://www.geocities.com/txgrtpyrs

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Andy, a Kyle Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in Kyle, or seeking a Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Kyle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kyle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kyle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kyle paves the way for another one to be saved.
