My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Claudia is a delightfully pretty and fun girl. She, like most of our others, came from a high kill shelter and is very lucky that there were dedicated volunteers who looked out for her. Claudia is just a little less than 1 year old and weighs in at 50 lbs. She has a beautiful shiny black coat and a certain sparkle in her eye. She is so much fun to play with as she has a high play drive and is hilarious to watch. Claudia loves to play fetch and tug o war with her people and with her other canine buddies. She is pretty much a high energy girl, but does settle down to go for walks if you make her. This happy girl gets so excited and fidgets and dances around when she sees an old or new friend heading her way. She is a sweet girl who just wants to be loved and have fun. She would definitely make a great running and hiking companion for that active person. Claudia loves her treats and is treat motivated making training a breeze. She probably would not be a good fit for a kitty because of her energy level. Claudia would like nothing more than to have an awesome home of her own where she could run and play and then come in for lots of hugs and cuddles. Claudia is spayed, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations including rabies and micro-chipped. She is also on flea and tick preventative and heartworm preventative. Claudia is crate trained.
