Here's what the humans have to say about me:
RHETT IS BEING FOSTERED IN THE RICHMOND,VA AREA. PLEASE EMAIL US FOR AN ADOPTION APPLICATION @ MOMSRESCUE@GMAIL.COM.
Rhett was found as a stray in Goochland, Virginia with his sister Scarlett. Both were massively flea infested and matted. Based on the condition of their coats, both dogs were probably previously kept outside.
Rhett is pure joy to have around. He loves playing with toys of all kinds and usually has one in his mouth. He comes with a sweet temperament, a lover and cuddler. Rhett has made great progress with housetraining and gets a star rating of 95% trained. In addition, Rhett is also crate trained. His leash manners are coming along as well, but he will need some additional training with this skill.
Although he rides well in cars, Rhett did not necessarily like his trip to the groomers. Because he was so matted and quite scared, he was sedated. It is expected that he will do better on his second trip now that the mats are gone and his coat is clean and beautiful. His foster mom is proud to say that Rhett was great for the vet! So... email us for an adoption application while our website is being worked on ;) at momsrescue@gmail.com.
