Here's what the humans have to say about me:
MEET AIDAN, found dumped in the country. There is so much to say about Aidan we don't know where to begin. I guess the first thing we should mention is that Aidan is blind. Since the vet tell us this is a genetic issue, he has likely been blind since birth. He was full of fleas, every parasite known, both ears infected and both eyes infected. He is heartworm positive. And, yet, he never stops smiling and wagging. Everything the vet put him through -- he just stood quietly wagging.
The vet places Aidan at 18 mos. of age. He's been through a lot in his short life. We have Aidan on ear meds, eye meds, antibiotics, and wormer. He will be neutered in a couple of weeks when he is stronger, and then we will start his heartworm treatment some time in January.
Aidan needs someone willing to commit to a special needs dog. Someone who has the time, energy, patience and compassion to be worthy of this FABULOUS dog. Aidan is truly one of the most remarkable dogs we've ever seen. SUCH a love. Whomever is lucky enough to adopt Aidan will have added the greatest family member of all.
