I am already spayed, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Kiwi was abandoned on a rural country road when she was just a young kitten. Fortunately, she was taken in by a kind person. Eight years later, Kiwi's owner was forced to move to housing that did not allow pets so Kiwi and her cat friends were brought in my ARC. Besides being a strikingly beautiful Torti, Kiwi is a small girl with a gentle heart. She is quiet and a little timid (which is why she has a "no" for young kids); she lives with dogs but if they are too curious, she will hide. Kiwi gets along well with other nice cats. She is very ready to be your best friend. She needs someone to love her. Kiwi would do well in a home with low activity and one or two adult owners.
ARC is a non-profit, no-kill pet adoption organization. Our goal is to find caring forever homes for the animals, with an emphasis on owner education and pet behavioral support. We believe that when owners understand a pet's behavior (evolutionary and history), they can then understand and are more likely to follow appropriate training and everyday care.

Our Adoption Process...
ARC requires an application which include a matching form so we can discuss with you the type of pet you want for your lifestyle and which pets would best be suited for your home.
We prefer that all family members come over to meet the pet so everyone is comfortable with their new family member and to answer any questions you might have. ARC provides free behavioral support for the lifetime of the adopted pet.
A contract and a $50 tax-deductible donation is required. If you cannot keep the pet, it must be returned to ARC, regardless of pet's age.
Pets are inside companion animals and cats that have claws may not be declawed.

NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter!
Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures,
